Our Story

In 1987, a young John Lajeunesse founded Bragg Creek Excavating with a vision to make a significant impact in the civil earthworks industry.  With a natural knack for fairness and a work ethic that could move mountains (literally!), John quickly gained a reputation for precision work, acute attention to detail, and an extreme dedication to his projects.

Starting with just one machine, John worked his magic, waving his excavator boom like a wand to grant home and business owners their earthwork wishes.  With time, he added more machines to his fleet, becoming a local legend in Bragg Creek and the surrounding area.

Fast forward 37 years (sorry John for adding a few grey hairs here!), and Bragg Creek Excavating remains a beloved and reputable company, whose legacy continues to dig deep into the future.
